Me First And The Gimmie Gimmies are an odd one for me.  I like some of their covers, but some just do not work.  They are an oddity in that they consist of members from some great bands but are themselves, only mediocre.  When you have members from bands like 88 Fingers Louie and NOFX, it should make for greatness.....sadly it does not.

That being said, not all of their stuff is bad.  I quite enjoy their covers of Country Roads and Me And Julio Down By The Schoolyard.

I've been listening to:

WWE Anthology- A 3 disc, 86 song compilation of various WWE wrestlers entrance songs.  Starts off with Hulk Hogan's "Real American" from 1985, all the way through Stone Cold Steve Austin's theme.  Then it continues through to around 2002 with The Undertaker's new "Biker" theme.  Good set if you're a wrestling fan.

I wouldn't buy all their albums, but I do appreciate what they do.  I think they could be better, but since it's not the individual members main focus and is a side project, they don't have to be all that great, if that makes sense.  They all have other bands so they just get together as a fun side to throw out stuff.  I do like them, though.

I agree with you. It is a really cool cover, but posting the cover would probably get me in trouble.
