TOP 4 HARDEST ALBUMS you listen to a lot
Mine would be:
THE STOOGES Funhouse
THE STOOGES Raw Power
THE VELVET UNDERGROUND White Light / White Heat
THE PRETENDERS

I love talking about records.  I have even harder albums in my collection, and had even harder, but don't listen to hard stuff so much these days with so much to explore.  What are your 4 hardest regulars?

If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

Psycho Circus

Exodus: "Tempo Of The Damned"
Onslaught: "Killing Peace"
Metal Church: "Blessing In Disguise"
Overkill: "From The Underground & Below"

It took me quite some time to get into really hard thrash metal and bits of death, I listen to alot of glam rock most of the time, but these albums I always dig out when I want to obliterate my neighbours!  :teddyr:

Mr. DS

Testament - Return To The Apocolyptic City
Sepultura - Chaos AD
Fear Factory - Demanufacture
Cannibal Corpse - Live Cannibalism
DarkSider's Realm

"You think the honey badger cares?  It doesn't give a sh*t."  Randall

IzzyDedjet

Finntroll  Natfodd
Hammerfall  Threshold
Flogging Molly  Within a Mile of Home
This mix CD that my friend has in his car

Mofo Rising

I don't listen to much in the way of Metal music. I do however listen to a lot of what most people would describe as "noise."

Last Rights - Skinny Puppy - Probably their most experimental album of organic noise. I love it, but there aren't a lot of people who would like this.
Psalm 69 - Ministry - There are a lot of good Ministry albums, but I picked this one from back when they still mattered. Probably their most straight-up "rock" album.
Disco Volante - Mr. Bungle - A really chaotic and downright strange album that flips between metal, cartoon sound effects and bombast at the drop of a hat.
Thaw - Foetus Interruptus - There are better Foetus albums, but this one seems to have J.G. Thirlwell at his most abrasively, homicidal.
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

zombie no.one

pantera - reinventing the steel (easily their hardest album, but all the fans seemed to hate it!)
slayer - god hates us all (ditto the above comment)
brodequin - methods of execution
gorguts - obscura

having said that I only listen to them once a month maybe, but they are the 'most regular' hardest albums I bump in the stereo...

What amazes me is that the Brains can go from hardcore punk to reggae rasta in a NY minute!

And they still manage to sound like the same band even when they switch stylings!
Musically they are the best hardcore punk band, though probably not the most notorious.
