What would you suggest I watch for Halloween from now until Halloween? You can suggest pretty much any horror movie.

Here is a list that I have already seen that I can think of so you don't say them.
All Nightmare On Elm Street movies
Saw 1-4
Scream 1-3
Halloween- all
I've seen most mainstream zombie movies but if you have a good suggestion then go ahead.
Friday The 13th- 1-4, Manhattan, and X
Alien

I'm sure I've seen more but I'll tell you if I have seen it. Pretty much suggest anything that I didn't put above. Thanks :)

For the latest on the fifth installment in Don Coscarelli's Phantasm saga.

Psycho Circus

Re-Animator
Night Of The Demons
The Burning
Hellraiser
The Funhouse

Friday the 13th part 5
The Child's Play movies, part 1 is a good slasher, part 2 is cheesy but fun, and Bride of Chucky is a comedy but it's pretty good.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003 remake with Jessica Biehl
The Mummy and The Plague of Zombies by Hammer Studios, if you enjoy the old classics
Frankenstein (the old Universal Studios one in B&W)
If you haven't seen Aliens, then by all means check that out.
Hellraiser Bloodlines
Prom Night (the original)
The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.

D-Man

Demons: A great mix of monsters and blood. The climactic motorcycle scene is one of the best heroic moments in a horror movie, period.

Suspiria: Not much violence, but a great spooky atmosphere makes up for it.

Phantasm: Definitely a new Halloween classic. The setting in a graveyard and mortuary make it perfect for the season.

Re-Animator: A great, bizarre take on the "undead" genre.

Alien: For a consistently tense, claustrophobic atmosphere, this film can't be beat. Still the only truly scary film in the franchise.

Hammer's "Scream of Fear" -- If you haven't seen it, it's full of surprises --

I have no idea what this means.

Perhaps - "The Fog";
           - "Night Of/Curse Of The Demon" (1958);
           - "Ghost Story"
There are few things more beautiful than a sporting montage with a soft-rock soundtrack

Netherworld- I watch it every Halloween, its seedy and I like that...

This year I'm also lining up:

Hatchet
Feast 2
Fade to Black (Dennis Christopher)

However, avoid Rest Stop 2: it was aweful... it was the kind of rental that you actually think about asking for your money back.
Society, exactly as it now exists is the ultimate expression of sadomasochism in action.
-boyd rice-
On the screen, there\\\'s a death and the rustle of cloth; and a sickly voice calling me handsome...
-Nick Cave-

Last Halloween my feature presentation was CARNIVAL OF SOULS (the original, not the remake!) Couldn't have made a better choice. But I like 'em old, and in B&W; the gory Technicolor stuff doesn't capture the Halloween mood for me (though I like those movies as well).

I like to dip into the classic Universal well this time of year (FRANKENSTEIN, THE MUMMY, THE WOLFMAN, DRACULA, & sequels). The original NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD is also a good seasonal staple. SPIDER BABY, THE HAUNTING... lots of possibilities.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Night Of The Living Dead
Return Of The Living Dead
The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane (not a horror film per say, but a great suspense film starring a young Jodie Foster)
"Nothin' out there but God's little creatures - more scared of you than you are of them" - Warren, "Just Before Dawn"

JaseSF

Hitchcock's PSYCHO
THE INNOCENTS (1963)
THE BODY SNATCHER (1945)
JAWS
THE SHINING (1980)
ALIEN (1979)
THE MUMMY (1932)
THE HAUNTING (1963)
THE LEGEND OF HELL HOUSE
INVADERS FROM MARS (1953)
THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD (1951)
THE THING (1982)

On my list for this year are:
White Noise (great if you are a ghost lover, otherwise you probably wouldn't like it)
Texas Chain Saw Massacre (the original, I've never seen it)

Another year we watched:
Halloween (I know it's on all the time, but I hadn't seen it since it came out)
The Fog (original with Adrienne Barbeau)
