Well we had a talk just now, after alot of crying and please please pleases. Were going go for the whole friend thing. (funny) I know thats not going to work though. It might, who knows. Maybe me and her are better at being friends then husband and wife. I guess we'll see, only time will tell.

Im not going lie though, it still hurts really bad. Im just glad I have freinds here, that makes me happy.

I'm going to cross my fingers and let luck carry me now. I might not be so active after today. 1 thing is for sure, Im a survivor. I always have been. I know I can get through these tuff / sad times

The friends thing could work if you take a break from her for a while.
Go on holiday or something to clear your head.

The next few days are gonna be tough for you, but you've been married before so you know it's gonna hurt a lot. I have no doubt that you'll never forget her, there will be people that you meet that'll leave a mark on you forever and I'm guessing she's one of those people.

You probably don't think it right now, but you'll find someone else.

You know, when I first read this I thought you said, "Face to face on the phone she's fine"

and I was like, "WHAT?!?  Kids today think talking "face to face" is the same as on the phone?!?"  Then I reread it...

I just realized recently that I have the setup (a DVD recorder and a still more-or-less functional VHS player) to rerecord all my VHS's onto DVDs.

So now I have yet another hobby project I'll never get to.

Hey, I've been meaning to get one of those set up too.  Course, I don't have a DVD recorder (well, come to think of it, there's one of my computer, I suppose somehow I could hook up my VCR too it, but it's one of those things I keep forgetting to research...)

That'll be something to figure out someday, as I, like I'm sure a lot of people here, have several videos that, for various reasons, aren't going to ever appear on DVD.  Not to mention my old "highlight" VHSes where over the years I've hooked two VCRs together, and recorded the "good parts" from various films....

Oh, come on, don't tell me I'm the only one here to do that!

So I finally got the Uncharted:  Drake's Fortune game for my PS3, which I've been looking forward to for some time.  And this morning I downloaded the latest firmware update on my PS3.  Now I'm reading that the new firmware causes Uncharted, as well as some other games, to freeze up every half hour or so.  Yeah, I mean...who would have ever thought to check for something like that before they let 20 million people download it? 

Guess I'll wait until they fix it before I start playing it.

As I was parking my car today I parked next to this REALLY small car.  I mean, this thing was SMALL!  Yeah, I know my car (89 Lincoln Towncar) is pretty big, but even just comparing it to "normal" cars it was small.  It was so small I practically expect the word "Tonka" to be written the side.

Uh... I don't know, whatever it came with in the factory.  I'm not much of a car person to be honest, that's more my stepbrother, stepfather, and brother in laws (yes, two of them) domain than mine.  I DO know the bumpers are pretty tough.  I was backing out rather slowly from a parking space and I tapped another car (one of those newer, lighter, almost plastics models) and I didn't even realize I'd done some damage to it.  (Seriously, I was going SLOW.)  Drove off without even realizing what had happen.

Sorry I can't tell ya more.  Although car repairs is something I've thought about trying to learn more on someday.  I remember when my stepbro and I were working on my car last year, I had on these tactile gloves (they're like regular gloves, except they're thin, so you can feel everything you're touching), and I helped out as we went about replacing, well, something or other (can't recall what it was, only that we had to scrap the damn thing off).

Anyway, up until that point I never really "got" the fascination with working on cars, but during that time, I could see the appeal, there's something neat about working with your hands and then being able to look back at a job (in this case, a fixed car) and say, "Yeah, I did that."

Sure, Its like this see ... We lost our apartment in feb 09 because we had to put all our money into her new job. She was going to be an insurance saleswomen. She needed money for books for school, classes, license, lots of tests and so on. Well we paid that off and right after lost our aprtment. With HIGH hopes of everything going to be ok in june or july she told me in late july she just cant work anymore, it was too hard for her. "its not for me" she said.

She went to her moms and I went to my friends in feb 09. She been there and I have been here ever since. I cant live with her and her mom I dont get along with the mom and dad you see. 30 miles apart Our relationship got bitter, really bitter and sour over that time. Sept 1 she said, "I cant do this anymore", I agreed ... the rest is history I guess. Sad really.

We will cont. to be freinds, I hope that works, who knows though it might, might not. Just wish me luck freinds.

I'm an old fart...but take my word for it-you WILL meet someone else. My first love-we broke up. My second lov-Tara Sue-we were deeply in love untill the end-(she died of cncer) But my first love-we been kinda seeing each other again on a freindship basis. But guess what-you'll run into someone you never meet-and shell love you. Thats life. Thats fate. I fell in love with Tara Sue day one. She was an artist-so was I. I dont think It will happen again with me,though. I still love her.
