Godflesh - Pure

Hell yes! I've been a Godflesh fan since the Streetcleaner days. Pure is my fave album of theirs. Did you know it was recorded on an 8 track cassette machine? Killer f**king band!!!

Me too, I still have Streetcleaner, Slavestate and Pure on cassette.  Somehow though I never managed to see Godflesh live, they were supposed to open for Skinny Puppy on the Last Rights 1992 tour, but couldn't get work visas or something ridiculous. That was a good show, but Godflesh would have made it that much better. I wasn't aware they recorded it on an 8 track, they pushed that machine to the limit. I have been digging some of Justin's recent Jesu stuff.
