Allhallowsday

It's been snowing since early this morning.  It let up a bit around 2pm and I shoveled all my walkways and my driveway.  Clearing it all out took about an hour.  Then the snow picked up momentum, around 5pm, and has not let up since, and is not expected to until tomorrow morning or so...!!  We must have 12 inches of snow on the ground, at least, and who knows we may get 2 feet!!!

Yipes!  I actually enjoy raking leaves... but shoveling snow???   :bluesad: :bluesad: :bluesad:

Here in Saskatoon, Canada, we've had snow since early December.  It averages at about -40 Celsius (though today it was only -7 Celsius).  Usually we don't have THAT bad of snowstorms.  Just pretty damn cold.

yeah no.

I shoveled out the driveway (we have a long driveway) around noon today.  Can't tell that I ever did it now.  It's windy here and the snow is drifting, but when we took a measurement on the back deck it looked around 18 inches.  The deck is elevated and was pretty evenly snowed, so that should be close to accurate.  The official snowfall counter in a nearby area was 15.5 inches.

It's been snowing here in Leyland (UK) since Thursday. It did rain very heavily last night, so that washed away alot of the ice and snow. But, it's gotten back upto a few inches so far this morning. Damn cold too.

Well I woke up to about 15 inches of snow in RI.  It still seems to be snowing a bit.  Luckily it seems to be kind of a drifty snow which usually is easier to shovel than the heavy stuff.  I'd best be getting on that soon.

I live in south Jersey...snowing all day yesterday, but now the sun's coming out (its shining in my eyes as I type this) so that should help me with digging out my truck.

We got the snow on the ground in my parts of Wisconsin, but the last big snowstorm we had was two weeks ago.  All the schools in the area in my town and surrounding were shut down.  Heck, Town Hall and tons of other buisness had closed as well.

I live in Maryland and it snowed all day Saturday and part of Friday night. We got about a foot.

The snow is dry and fluffy here too. It does make shoveling a lot easier. However I had very little need for shoveling because a very generous neighbor used a very powerful snow blower to clear everybody's front walkways and the main sidewalk.

Here in Cumbernauld we've had fairly heavy snow since around Three o'clock on Thursday afternoon. There is currently a couple of inches of snow on the ground which should lie for a while as the temperatures are mostly below zero.

Good lord...I just got in after 3 to 4 hours (I lost track) of snow battling.  I need a nap although my neighbor will need some help getting his car out later.
