some of johnny cash's fans will probably hate this and that's understandable but I heard it late last night on the radio and it totally blew my mind

Speaking as a Johnny Cash fan I neither hate it nor had my mind blown by it.  I'd play it if it was in my collection but I probably wouldn't go out and get the album.
