It looks like a zombie decent zombie movie.

It'd be alright if they didn't make it under the name Plan 9!

It's not being remade by Hollywood, it's apparently being remade by a group of people who love film and know how production works.

I'd say this is going to be more of a tribute, in which they simply take the concept and make it into something Ed Wood originally wanted, they are not trying to imitate the badness of the original, that's impossible.

I have good expectations, lighten up people.

sounds like a good idea for a movie you should pitch that idea :)

Maybe I can go to the SciFi channel and we can make a straight to DVD/VHS release.  It could be in a big box and have very bad coverwork.  This could then be posted on badmovies.org for the box cover thread and the bad movie thread.

Okay, my "nuclear war" comment was meant to be over the top. We're all adults, we can watch whatever we want, but I will pass. There are some things that people hold sacred. I hate to use this tired analogy, but Plan 9 is the Citizen Kane of bad movies. If you want to make something inspired by it, go for it. But a remake? Exceptionally not cool. My opinion.
I don't always talk about bad movies, but when I do, I prefer badmovies.org

The very idea of remaking Plan 9 is totally futile and pointless. Why not Truth Or Dare: A Critical Madness, or Scream (1980), or maybe....ahh, you know what? Just don't f**k with those movies. Cliche, yes, but remakes= :thumbdown:
