Current listening to Killing Joke's "Night Time"

The Eminem Show by Eminem.  I'd put his albums up there as some of the best written out there, rap or otherwise.

American V: A Hundred Highways by Johnny Cash

The History of Rock by Kid Rock

As Ugly As They Wanna Be by Ugly Kid Joe

Project 1950 by The Misfits...well, technically, a Misfits side project, featuring The Misfits bass player/vocalist Jerry Only, Marky Ramone (of The Ramones) on Drums, and Dez Cadena (of Minor Threat) on guitars, singing covers of '50s and '60s classics, songs by Bobby Darin, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Richie Valens and a few others.
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell.

I love lamp.

Free album Saturday brings us another jazz compilation from Amazon.

They make you jump through the usual hoops to download it (actually they've installed new hoops) but for Miles Davis, Lena Horne, Peggy Lee, and Sonny Rollins tracks you may find it worth the trouble.

I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Steve Kilbey - Unearthed

This is part of a new Steve Kilbey box set I ordered called Monsters n Mirages.  Kilbey is the lead singer and bassist of The Church, who are basically the best band around in my opinion.  His solo work is very cool and unfortunately overlooked.
