I'm glad Obama isn't showboating about cleaning up this oil spill like Hillary probably would be. wearing a hard hat out by the water or something

LOL that's so true! Probably worse actually, she'd probably wear some Navy uniform or something.

If God exists, why did he make me an atheist? Thats His first mistake.

incredulous british announcer tries to explain away us goal  :bouncegiggle:

I think he's right, that was extremely weak.  Basically a goalkeeper error, the US had no business scoring on that shot.  I'll take it though.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

They're really awful. I had to actually turn the France v Uruguay match off the other night. I've got the Algeria game on mute right now....

After all the comments about the buzzing of vuvuzelas: watching TV last night, cruising stations, by some strange luck I kept catching shows making references to 'Africanized Killer Bees' and it cracked me up every time.  Good thing I was alone.

Masters of the Universe and Superman have a similar opening credits and opening theme.
Just my opinion.

Vuvuzela - sometimes called a "lepatata" (its Setswana name) or a stadium horn, is a blowing horn, approximately one metre in length, commonly blown by fans at football matches in South Africa. They require some lip and lung strength to blow and emit a loud monotone. A similar instrument (known as corneta in Brazil and other Latin American countries) is used by football fans in South America.

That's what I love about this place. I learn something new almost every day.
