Although its gravely immature, I thoroughly love proving people wrong.

Yeah, but it takes a bit of the shine off it when they don't know it.

I was soooo looking forward to going out into that sauna outside and mowing the lawn but, gosh darn it, now it's raining.

While watching the strange world of Little Bear with my four year old yesterday, the little girl in the episode was pretending her little doll was dead.  All of her animal friends grieved over it after they put it in a box.  The little girl then proceeded to let them know her doll was alive and just playing.  I couldn't help but yell, "Its a zombie shoot it in the head".  I figured it was already warped enough so why not.

I remember one time while waiting in the dentist I was reading a Clifford the Big Red Dog book, and I have to say it was pretty funny.  Basically, the dog's owner finds a kitten and starts paying more attention to it than Clifford, so he starts mimicking the kitten's behavior to try and be cute.  Like when the girl lays a kitten on its back in an old cradle, Clifford lays down in the back of an empty dump truck (there's a construction crew nearby fixing the road.)  Kitten starts scratching on a post, Clifford scratches on a telephone pole.  Kitten plays with a spool of thread, Clifford began playing with a large spool of piping.

Well.. I guess it's something you had to have seen yourself.

Sweet.  My computer's not working and I have to post on this laptop. I would kill my computer if it weren't already dead.

They realize that Jack won't watch the movie unless he sees a woman in a tank top, and Jack accounts for 15% of their viewing audience.

It's a decent adaptation of the book with some standout performances.  It's a  little less raw than the book, since it was made for TV.  Gary Sinise does an outstanding job.  As always, the book is better, but it is still worth seeing.
