I do believe that was in Scary Movie, because the heroine types in white woman in trouble..... and of course that gets the cops to mobilize

No... It was in a review on this site... And since that that movie isn't reviewed on thi site that can't be it... I believe it was a Zombie movie or end of the world movie...

I almost never answer these posts, because I simply haven't seen the wide variety of B-movies most folk here have.
However, this rings a bell of memory.  I think it was a mainstream film, one of those parodying the breakdown of society -- isn't this from the first "Robocop"?
