What songs do you think sound amazing when you blast them loud? Let's face it, not all songs are made to blast loud, but some just have an unexplainable... effect (best word I can think of) when you blast the volume.

In no particular order:

1. Free For All - Ted Nugent

2. Hellraiser - Motorhead (actually almost anything by Motorhead!)

3. Hungry Like the Wolf -  Duran Duran

4. If You Want Blood - AC/DC

5. Rock & Roll Soul - Grand Funk Railroad

6. This Ain't the Summer of Love - Blue Oyster Cult

7. Princes of the Universe - Queen

8. I'm in Love with My Car - Queen

9. Hungry Boys - Blue Oyster Cult

10. Another Rainy Night (Without You) - Queensryche

11. Fire of Unknown Origin - Blue Oyster Cult

12. Simply Irresistible - Robert Palmer

13. Disco Inferno - The Trammps

14. Stayin' Alive - Bee Gees

15. Silver Machine - Hawkwind

16. Listen to the Music - The Doobie Brothers

17. Rock Me to the Top - Tesla (actually a lot of stuff from their album Mechanical Resonance)

18. Metal Health - Quiet Riot (pretty much anything from their album Metal Health)

19. Sweet Talkin' Woman - Electric Light Orchestra

20. Godzilla - Blue Oyster Cult

I'll think of some more later.

Any time I listen to the album Dirt by Alice in Chains I have to crank it up. I think the great "wall of sound" guitar production lends itself well to loud volumes.
I don't always talk about bad movies, but when I do, I prefer badmovies.org

What Do You Do For Money Honey- AC/DC
Misserlou- Dick Dale

AC/DC should only be listened to loud. I also love Girl's Got Rhythm blasted. It's one of my running songs.

Damn straight on Motorhead, baby! Seen em' a few times and they're still loud and proud after all these years. As long as Lemmy's around, metal will still be played.

I'd like to offer my own here, and say that Accept's Balls To The Wall makes a good one for a setting of 10 or more on a set of speakers. Kick-ass song.

You certainly like long lists.  I don't.  Anybody who knows me from the web knows I love lists, but hate long ones... beyond 10 when you start a thread is sheer gluttony.     Ted Nugent...??  I only need 1 for my list of sheer volume.

Well, I sort of disagree with the gluttony part, but this definitely an instance where I can understand your point.  Since it bothers you (and probably others), in the future (when possible) I will divide my list over several posts. I will let others reply in between those posts of course.

However, you should also consider yourself lucky, as I almost put up a Youtube video for each song!  :tongueout:

In case you're wondering, I'm not insulted or angry, I know I have a tendency to make (absurdly?) long lists.

By the way, why don't you like Ted Nugent? Is it his music and/or him as a person?

Hey!  Don't overlook the emoticons I used!  Your list didn't "bother" me... if it did, I wouldn't have bothered to respond.  I am always honest, but hardly ever serious.  Glad you're not insulted 'cause I was trying to bring you smile (and maybe tease you, too...)   You have nice diversity in your pump up the volume selections, I like everything, except...

Ted Nugent?  A$$hole.

I had a feeling you weren't completely serious. As for Ted Nugent, I'll be the first to admit he is (to put it way too nicely) outspoken and passionate. However, I still think most of his music is simple loud fun.  I wouldn't blame somebody for avoiding all things nugenty though.
