MOVIES THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE COVER ARTWORK/PICTURE

Yo gang!
What movies do you recall where the cover art or pictures (or maybe movie posters) have NOTHING to do with the film?  Many examples are probably going to be involving VHS covers.  My example:
House Of Psychotic Women

For one, the guy doesn't resemble Paul Naschy at all.  Also, the 3 women depicted are nothing like the ones in the movie.  They don't chain him up and shock him (at least that's what it looks like they're doing), NOBODY has a whip, and one of them is supposed to be in a wheelchair.  And as for the blurb "Within their doors await the most unspeakable acts".. almost all of the murders take place elsewhere.
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

I'm thinking of "Ghoulies" with the classic cover scene of one of the ghoulies popping up out of a toilet. When I was a real little kid the box front kindof scared me away from the toilet. As I got older and got a chance to actually see this movie I learned that first and foremost the movie sucked and secondly the box cover didn't really apply in any way.
The only difference between zombies and toddlers is one is cuter than the other.

How about movies that have a hot woman on the cover, but the woman in the film is not nearly that attractive (or in some cases, attractive at all)?

Also, the tagline for The Prey says "It's not human, and its got an axe!" But the reality is that it IS human, and it only has an axe for a brief moment from what I remember. lol

Looks like a soft core flick with sexy vampires, right?

Wrong. This was the cover of the retitled sci-fi flick INVASION OF THE BEE GIRLS.
If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

this one is deceiving

it makes it look like a Raiders of the Lost ark type adventure

Doggett

Even in small print on the cover of the DVD it says she's a model. I was gutted.
And therefor nothing to do with the film.

If God exists, why did he make me an atheist? Thats His first mistake.

I was thinking of The Prey as well.  IIRC there's like some woman on the cover seen from the chest down with like a bridal dress, also nowhere in the film!  An axe (as you said, barely in the film at all) is buried in her chest.  I think the axe was only used around the beginning, involving the death of a VERY BORING couple at a campfire with an admittedly cool decapitation.

Screamers (1978)

Andrew reviewed this one. The box says it's about men turned inside out ("and they're still alive!"), but it's really about mutant fish men.

House Of Psychotic Women

This one sucked me in as a young man.  Needless to say it was not what I had hoped for.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

That's a classic example! The box was so scary (Men Turned Inside Out! WTF?!?) I remember passing this one up a few times before I got up the nerve to rent this. And then - fish men. Stupid fish men.

Here's a great blog entry from someone who suffered unrelenting fear of being turned inside out for years after glimpsing this VHS cover. He even provides a link to Andrew's review!

I remember the ads in the paper for SCREAMERS.  Never saw it but one day when the internet was young I went to IMDB and was linked to ISLAND OF THE FISHMEN (There was another movie called SCREAMERS but with Peter Weller and I knew that wasn't it).  I remember seeing NOTHING about fishmen on the VHS box.

I saw HOUSE OF PSYCHOTIC WOMEN on Nightmare Theater one night in the Seattle area when I lived there for a few years.  When I later saw the beta box I couldn't believe it was the same film.

"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

From what I recall, Island of the Fish Men and Screamers are the same film. Although, the Screamers "version" features newly shot gore scenes so that it could be repackaged. The actual Island of the Fish Men was more of a tame Island of Dr. Muero (spelling?) type of film.

Also, there's a film called Robot Ninja. Yet the film features neither robots, ninjas, or robot-ninjas within it. It is merely a guy with a homemade suit trying to be a vigilante. And he doesn't even use any ninja "moves".

I'm thinking Robot Jox

While it isn't entirely misleading when you are young you are expecting a lot less talking and a lot more robot fighting.

How about The Keep?

The movie poster above but VHS was the same except I think with no writing besides the cast and all.  However, while it gets the point across never is it really shown in any meaningful way if I remember correctly.  It is more some bricks you always see the characters near.

Ah, the good old days.

Of course I had low expectations for a film like this, but it was still disappointing.

There is no Surfer with a badass lobster claw( just a puny hook) hand and chainsaw on his board terrorizing beach goers.
There aren't many laughs and the protagonist is an elderly woman.
