After seeing the recommend some obscure slasher films topic, I figured I'd start one to see what anthology horror films viewers here have up their sleeves to recommend.

Off the top of my head I've seen (probably missing a few that I'm forgetting at the moment):

The Creepshow films
The Willies
Deadtime Stories
Tales from the Crypt
The Vault of Horrors
Creeptales
Night Train to Terror

So, what other ones are out there (good or terrible)?

RockMonster

Asylum (1972)
Black Sabbath (1963)

How could we forget the classic Tales From The Darkside: The Movie (1990)

RCMerchant

KWADIAN (1964) Is an anthologhy of Japanese ghost stories....spooky.
(You can find it dubbed or subtitled)

DEAD OF NIGHT (1945) One of the first horror anthologies. Scary s**t too!
Hugo was the Great Grandaddy of Chucky!

Being this is BAD movies....the WORST horror anthology I've ever seen-Dr.TERRORS GALLERY OF HORROR,with down on their luck stars Lon Chaney Jr. and John Carradine, with sets left over from a High School play,I suspect...)
(not to be confused with Amicus films DR.TERRORS HOUSE of HORROR with Peter Cushing and Chris Lee)

Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

Two Evil Eyes - Two good, but not great films from Romero & Argento.

After Midnight - This one sucks.

Torture Garden - This one's very good!

Cat's Eye - You've probably seen it.  I don't know if I've ever seen the entire thing, but the last segment with the breath-stealing troll is neat.

Nightmares - I feel like I saw this on TV a lot when I was little and the Bishop of Battle story freaked me out for some reason.  I wish this wasn't out of print.

After seeing some responses there were definately some "how'd I forget I'd seen that titles" but definately a few that I can say I never heard of before.

A little cheesy and more Twilight Zone-ish than horror, but still pretty cool from what i remember.
"Nothin' out there but God's little creatures - more scared of you than you are of them"  - Warren, "Just Before Dawn"

R-T-C Tim

A very obscure little anthology horror starring Vincent Price. Released on DVD as a double pack with the aforementioned AIP Poe film 'Tales of Terror', both of which are worth seeing.

Reviews of: Twice Told Tales and Tales of Terror.
Mondo Esoterica - Cult and obscure DVD reviews from Nosferatu to Black Emanuelle
