They say that getting drunk brings out your true nature. I believe getting frustrated at videogames can do so as well.

I must reiterate this again.  I absolutely HATE, HATE, HATE certain METAL fans.  Especially the ones that argue about what style of metal/bands/instruments are better on YouTube.  They need to go to hell and rot there.  These douchebags probably have a band they think is the greatest but blows goats.

Also, the people who get vehemently angry about whether or not a band/artist is metal. I don't care if people debate endlessly about whether AC/DC (or whoever) is hard rock or metal, but furious angry arguments = pointless bulls**t. I think about this stuff sometimes, but I'm not the type of person who gets emotionally invested in such matters.

It doesn't matter how innocuous the YouTube video is, just scroll down a few comments and you'll invariably find some people arguing bitterly about...something

Yes! Often, politics or (worse yet) race and sexual orientation get called into it... Which is really confusing/upsetting/annoying if you just want to listen to some music or watch some movie clips. Also, while some people feel the way we do, I find it just as bad when people try to stop obnoxious commenters and act just as... well, obnoxious. Also, I don't care how you feel about Justin Bieber, Jonas Brothers, etc... and I don't care if people make jokes about them. However, now waves of people won't comparing music they like  (I notice this on many classic rock videos) to them. That gets really old, really fast.  Just as obnoxious though, are the people who angrily say stuff like "EVERYbOdY lieks their own music types!!!!! SO STFU or GTFO!!!!! (insert threatening and/or condescending comment(s) here)" On a related note I hate when the same jokes appear video after video.

So I'm sitting in the school library, writing this damn research essay and I need this quote from some obscure article from the New Yorker from the 1980s.  I can't find it online, and the magazine's website wants me to subscribe to read back issues.  So as I'm freaking out I look to my left and I see, on the shelf, the library's collection of every single New Yorker issue ever published.  I found my quote.  How weird is that? :teddyr:

A non-Confidence vote has brought down the Harper government...looks like we're heading for our 4th election in 7 years here in Canada. The downside of so many minority governments. Polls suggest we might end up with the exact same government we have now unless the opposition parties form some type of coalition..personally I think we need a change.

Imagine attending college before the Internet.  That's how we had to research everything---by looking at the actual book or magazine!  :buggedout:
