What is your WEIRDEST musical interest?  I like lots of WEIRD MUSIC, but am a huge CAPTAIN BEEFHEART and THE MAGIC BAND fan, and there are times (the best of times) when it just gets WEIRD:

Post YouTubes of your WEIRDEST musical interest...multiple YouTubes is okay, but let's post only ONE ARTIST AT A TIME until someone else posts, and then, post one at a time again and again as often as you care to, one artist at a time!

I was really into them as a rebelling teenager, mainly due to their live shock value.

I think maybe I should have labeled this thread "Recommend WEIRD music"!  I like everything posted...  Circus reminded that I liked early DEAD OR ALIVE (not that hit they had) Crackers has educated me, and Lester gets the prize for making me seek out something I did not know: RENALDO AND THE LOAF.  They're great!!  Please keep posting WEIRD music!  I like JOHN CALE, who gets WEIRD:

He brought that weirdness originally to the VELVET UNDERGROUND:

Not the weirdest in my collection by a long shot, but just happened to come up on random play and I thought I'd share:

I'm a big fan too. I work in a shop and Pete Burns is one of my regular customers.

I love Pete Burns, but it's such a shame the way he has gone overboard with plastic surgery to the point where he can no longer sing. He looked gorgeous throughout the 80s, there never any need to mess around with his image. Plus, I really wish DOA hadn't moved so far away from their early indie/brit-pop sound. As much I love the SAW stuff, it wrecked their originality. I can't stand anything that was released after "Nude".

Carl Stone - Shing Kee

this is a very weird piece of music based on repeating a short loop of music ad infinitum, but adding a split second more to the loop each time. you need some patience to listen to it but if you do then once you get past the 2-3 minute mark it starts 'taking effect'. carl stone is a respected name in the avant garde music world and my younger brother was lucky enough to open for him when he did a show in london about 2 years ago
