Go ahead and pull that one off.  I was really just on a tangent about the state of the industry in general.  An actual person or group should occupy the spot.

I'd go ahead and say Led Zeppelin are pretty bad.  Most disagree, but I find them painfully dull and uninteresting.

Also: Limp Bizkit are pretty damned bad as well.

yeah I think you might be on your own there. John bonham is frequently voted the best drummer of all time. Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and Jon Paul Jones always figure high in best-of lists for guitarist, singer, and bassist respectively. even when voted for by other musicians...

as for The Beatles...  well, that's an interesting choice

Lady Gaga. She's a thief with no ounce of originality. The scary thing is, people don't care and continue to buy/like her music. She got everyone fooled  :bluesad:

*high five*  It's mostly Robert Plant.  Replace him with someone who could sing instead of shriek and Led Zeppelin would probably be listenable.

fair enough if you don't like his voice period, but of course Plant could sing without shreiking...

Not really.  I like them, but thank you for revealing one of your weakness.  It's very informative.

Here's a band that should be here:  Design the Skyline.  Your heart and soul are not ready for them.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

All well and good, but I'd put all 3 members of Rush up against all 4 members of Zeppelin.  And, Rush would kick their respective asses, routinely and daily.

And, I will say this: although I dislike Zeppelin, Bonham is a beast.

Also, a nomination:
Rucka Rucka Ali--a rapper, who fancies himself an 'adult' version of "Weird Al", only without the talent, and infuses racism in place of 'jokes.'  I like some of his songs, but he's pretty bad.

once again, don't like the song but the level of musicianship required to play it would be very high.

ok that's it, apparently I can't get over this not-so-subtle distinction so I'm going to stop checking this thread for my own sanity. have fun...
