well, i kinda meant that they were really scraping the barrel by remaking (re-imagining, rebooting blahblahblah) this one. in a few years this who emo-kid type film will seem quite lame - even lamer than now. i respect the original for what it is: an absolute train wreck. hell, i can remember actually loving the original when i was young. what's next, new year's evil starring my chemical romance, fall out boy, etc etc?

I didn't do my homework on this one. The most horrifying thing about this movie is that it's going to be a horror/musical. ...shudder...

The only thing wrong with the original is that it wasn't a musical.
