Just been offered a job that will only last 2 months and is 18 hours a week. This after filling in a very long and complex application form, being sent on a retail training course and then attending a group interview! The vacancy was advertised as permanent, full-time hours and I've been waiting weeks to hear back. It's safe to say I am supremely p**sed off!

By accident.  My nicotine solution bottle is exactly the same size as my eye drop bottle.  It's only a matter of time before I mix them up when I'm not paying attention.

Ever notice how nasty some people can be around the Holidays?  Each day closer to Christmas, the nastier they get. If you're shopping in a store, they'll snarl at you if you bump their shopping cart.  If you're reaching for something on a shelf, and they saw it first, they'll rip your throat out if you touch it.  And don't dare be in front of them on the checkout line with one extra item over the twenty limit!  Makes you wonder about these people.  If there's a full moon on Christmas night, do they turn into werewolves?

So many get frustrated standing in long line-ups to buy gifts largely for others who don't even appreciate it or need it when they'd probably be much happier giving something to someone who really does need some help...the whole meaning behind Christmas seems to get more and more lost in the haze of commercialism and obsessed consumers hoping to buy something to fill that inner emptiness, a void nothing can ever fully fill.

I think most planets might be flat.  We see them from the top or bottom, so they look round.  We don't normally see them edge-on because they're really far a way and only a few miles thick, so they're very hard to spot.
