1. I still seem to like the music, books and films I did as a teen or younger.
2. I believe I am still the same person.
3. People ~ especially women ~ seem to look longer and more appreciatively at me: I think I've gotten better looking as I get older. *
4. My underpants are in a terminal state and also in a terminal state of denial as to their state.  :buggedout:

You can't call BS on youself, Trevor. You're supposed to give that opportunity to others. Where is you etiquete, man?

I'm pretty much in the same boat as Trevor.  My tastes haven't changed much over the years.  The major difference between Trevor and me is that women have always followed me around, hoping that someday they would win my affections.*

The other day we were doing a few things around the house to prepare for moving.  I looked out a window I had jumped out of 10 years prior and said "theres no way my ankles would survive".

1. I still like the same music

2. Life is conspiring against me,making me drop things more often, because bending over just isn't as fun as it used to be....or easy!

3.Everyone I work with seems younger than me

4.My patience with rude folks wears thinner every day

5.I think my arms are getting shorter

6.I think my feet are getting bigger
Yes,I'm fine....as long as I don't look too closely.

What used to make me angry just makes me tired.

I appreciate women more as blessings, rather than as aquisitions.

I have less tolerance for willful ignorance, and professional victimhood.

I find more and more things about myself to laugh about.
If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

This week I couldn't remember if the garbage man comes on Mondays or Tuesdays.  In my defense I was trying to remember this at 6:30 on a Monday morning.

I honestly don't want a Lamborghini any more.  I'd put it in the garage and never drive it, and my regular car would have to sit outside.

I find it very easy to be apathetic about pretty much everything that doesn't personally effect me or my family.

I think most people's "problems" could probably be solved by giving them a good boot in the a$$.

As I get older I find that:

My parents were right about a lot of things.

Everybody lies about something at some time.

There are still beautiful things in the world.

It gets easier to say "NO".

Be grateful for what you have.
Hold onto your dreams ....

Mr. DS

Patience is quickly leaving me and I'm a lot more mean.  I kind of like it that way too.

Time seems to be moving faster. I know it actually isn't but it does seem to be.

I like less and less modern movies, TV and music but there are exceptions.

I appreciate courtesy and respect more and more. I've less and less use for rude and intolerant people.

The more I'm scared for the future generation and their addiction for technology that for some is actually working to isolate them from the world. Also I'm scared values, morals and ethics are not getting through to some kids in a world filled with vulgar, distasteful TV shows without any point behind them.

I find the more and more I like stuff from before I was born and stuff from the time in which I grew up (70s, 80s, early 90s).

I find that having kids later in life is a great way to keep one young. I'm tired all the time, sure, but that's a small price to pay for staying young.
