Fantasy Warfare: Ricky Steamboat vs. Kofi Kingston.  This would be a great matchup if it happened.

it's hard to believe that Del Rio was facing Edge for the big gold belt at Wrestlemania last year....and now it looks like he isn't even going to be on the card this year

Top 10 Factions time....

# 10) nWo (The New World Order) : the idea started great (and Hogan turning heel was huge!) and the initial three members up to the first 5-6 was fine but when the group expanded further and further to the point it seemed almost everyone was a member at some point or another and they rarely ever seemed to lose or have anyone get the upper hand on them, well I think that hurt their momentum and fans interest started to wane.

# 9) The Jersey Triad (Diamond Dallas Page, Bam Bam Bigelow and Chris Kanyon): This trio was great. Three guys from Jersey getting it done. Kind of similar to the Freebirds in some ways with a guy good at talking, a big man good in the ring and another smaller guy who could get the job done in-ring.

I could see Sheamus winning.  Jericho winning as well.  Bryan and Punk both held the titles for a reasonable amount of time (in today's WWE, at least.)  I doubt both would win at Mania though...so I could see Punk win at 'Mania, with Bryan losing, and then Punk losing at the next ppv.

Wrestlemania Predictions:

Cena over Rock (think the crowd will be heavily pro-Rock though)

Taker will beat HHH in the cell (I could see something happening here that leads to HBK having another run perhaps)

Punk over Jericho (I think Punk initially wins but is later stripped of the title or the decision reversed at the hands of  Johnny Ace - due to excessive violent brutality perhaps after his attacking Christian and probably laying waste to Jericho here too)

Daniel Bryan over Sheamus (actually I wouldn't be surprised to see Bryan lose by DQ or countout to retain his title as well, think he squeaks out of it with the title though).

Cody Rhodes retains the IC  title over Big Show (suspect Rhodes or Show is either DQed or counted out here and Show flips out following match).

Kane beats Orton in underhanded fashion (to keep the feud going)

Team Johnny over Team Teddy

Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos over Eve and Beth Pheonix (Honestly I think Eve and Beth will win here but no one will remember it in the end and Kelly and Maria will still end up celebrating).

Continuing on with factions...

# 8) The Triple Threat (Shane Douglas, Chris Candido and Bam Bam Bigelow)

Probably the best ECW faction...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nElh18LgWs

# 7) The Dangerous Alliance (Rick Rude, Steve Austin, Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton & Larry Zbyszko): the dominant faction of WCW in the early 1990s.

Pretty sure whoever is teaming with Maria Menounous will win.  Anytime there's a 'celebrity' type event...however minor of a 'celebrity' here, they win.

8.) Raven's Nest/Flock.  The ECW one, although I liked the one in WCW as well.

WrestleMania 28 is in about two hours.

Always get pumped for tonight.

Wonder if Kharma will appear?

Hmm is Lord Tenshi the former Albert? The head sure looks like his.

Honestly I now think the Rock will win tonight. After all, he might have more Wrestlemanias in him yet. And I suspect the show will end on an high and it's in Miami, Rock's hometown.

And back to the factions...

# 6) The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael "P.S." Hayes, Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy and Buddy "Jack" Roberts, later versions including Jimmy "Jam" Garvin and Badstreet [Brad Armstrong under a mask]): the Freebirds were one of the earliest factions and I do consider them one as they almost always had 3 or more members.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oniMVVUc7Jc

# 5) DeGeneration X (Triple H, X-Pac, The New Age Outlaws and Chyna, earliest and latest version was the tag team of Triple H & Shawn Michaels - the 5 person group is the version I truly consider a faction)

Word going round is that Albert's gonna be involved with Johnny Laurinaitis.  Tenshi would be him.

As for Rock/Cena...I can argue it ending either way.  Rock apparently signed a good deal with WWE, and may have one or two more matches this year (potentially), plus a couple next year.  He's been announced for 'Mania 29...so take that for what it's worth.
