COLD and wet. Breaking out the hot cider, putting on a sweater and heating up a chunk of pumpkin pie...and it is only 7 am!

Indeed it is Trev. So glad you enjoyed it! Right now we are stockpiling gallon jugs of the fresh stuff from the farmers' market: once winter really sets in, we keep a crockpot full of mulled cider going in the kitchen.

It's a little warm and unsettled here in central Texas today and we may get some severe storms overnight. I hate it when Summer just won't go away.

Oopsie: when I left the house it wasn't all that chilly but standing waiting for the bus to arrive: Yikes. Let's just say that Sir Sean Connery's advice in The Untouchables about how to keep warm outside didn't work.
