Salyu x Salyu - S(o)un(d)beams

I'm generally not fond of buying album downloads, but to import the CD of this is a little cost prohibitive, but I was happy to spend 10 bucks on iTunes.  Great eclectic pop music.  Cornelius produced this so the music is meticulous and exciting, and I love Salyu's vocals.  Here's a pretty incredible live performance of the opening track:

I could see it bugging some folks but I think it's wonderful, and I like the almost scat-like approach to some of the vocals.

I hadn't seen that live performance before.  It was cool.  Also "Family Affair" is off of my favorite SLY & THE FAMILY STONE album (There's A Riot Goin' On)... I even owned a 45 of it... may still have it somewhere around here!  Was getting concerned about you - not seeing you around - I even went looking for your phone number.
