IMDb currently lists a total of 466 Feature Films rated between 1.0 - 1.9. The idea of this thread is to talk about favorite or non-favorite movies with these IMDb ratings only.

Based on IMDb voting counts, these are the ten most voted (popular) feature films:

My personal favorites are Birdemic: Shock and Terror (2010) (1.8 /  6,154 votes), and of course Space Mutiny (1988) (1.9 /  4,670 votes).

I think my rating for Birdemic is actually a bit lower than the IMDb average 

Manos...I made it to the nightgown wrestling scene in the MST3K version.  That's positively the most boring movie I've ever seen.

Space Mutiny is a big favorite.  Got that on DVD.

Final Justice is an MST3K favorite.  Girl in Gold Boots is pretty bad even with the MST3K treatment.

Grim was terrible.  Just boring and nothing happened.

Creeping terror crept so bad I turned it off before the end.

Universal Soldiers is a minor favorite of mine.  Z grade junk but I though it was good for a laugh or two.

Battle: New York, Day 2 was barely watchable.  But I watched it 

Boogeyman 2 was just clips from Boogeyman 1.  I turned it off after 20 minutes.

Android Insurrection - got it on DVD.  It's pretty terrible lol.

Blood Theatre (1984)  - made by the guy who did Hobgoblins and it's got very much the same vibe to it.  A lot of fun IMO.

Birdemic: Shock and Terror - The cheesy Eagle effects are fun but the slow pace and pretentious environmental message they shoehorn into the plot make the film a pain to sit through.
Creeping Terror - This film is unwatchable. Mostly for the lengthy shots of the impossibly slow monster that even Hurley from Lost could outrun.
Disaster Movie - Watching a Setzer and Friedberg production is like seeing someone urinate in public. Disgusting, stupid, and makes me wish the person(s) responsible were dead.
"Manos" The Hands of Fate - Hard to watch without MST3K.
Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 - Anyone who so much as giggles at this movie should have their genitalia sand-papered off.

Urggg... Going Overboard, Pledge This! and Disaster Movie are particularly brutal.

Manos is funny bad at parts and painfully brutal and others, Yet, it's strangely hypnotic.

I'm not sure if I find it funny, sad or rage-inducing that the largest percentage of the movies in all of these IMDb top 10 lists were all made AFTER 1990. As if no turd films were ever made prior to the 90s? Seriously?

Oh, wait, I forget that the bulk of the people who vote at IMDb have never used a rotary dial phone and would rather spend time texting than watch an "old" movie. Heaven forbid they stoop to watching something in black and white, unless it's considered "hip" to do so.

And, yes, call me an "elitist". I don't care.

That being said, I managed to watch both of the Superbabies movies without clawing my eyes out and shredding the DVDs. Where's my effin' prize?!?!

Well Java, you have to admit that the ones listed above are total crap that I wouldn't touch with a 100-meter cattle prod. I mean, From Justin to Kelly (2003)? Seriously? Personally, I'm still holding out for the Ruben Studdard movie and his life and times as a gangsta.

Actually, I think a lot of that post-1990 syndrome has to do with a simple sign of the times. More movies are cranked out nowadays courtesy of digital film technology and CGI effects, that movies are going from their launch date to home blu ray/DVD video inside of 4 months at times. Before 1990, we often had to wait anywhere from 6 months to as long as a year or more before the movies finally went from movie theater launch day to VHS. We didn't have the World Wide Web before 1990. Payphones were everywhere back then; good luck finding a cell(ular) phone, or "mobile" as anyone outside of the U.S. calls them.

Plus, practical effects were the norm rather than the exception in movies back then, instead of CGI. Compare the zero-CGI effects in Total Recall (1990) to the CGI-everywhere effects of Total Recall (2012) as a great example of this. And on that note, how many remakes of older movies can you name off the top of your head before 1990 compared to today's movie market? These damned kids today wouldn't know a good movie, or even a good bad movie, if it came up and bit them in the arse!

"Manos" is such a trip....bad and funny and very WTF.

"Overboard" was vaguely amusing the first time but has not aged well at all.

Never seen even though the old VHS cover art at the rental store looked very cool. People keep saying there used to be a more violent and longer version of the movie. If they ever release it remastered and uncut on Blu-ray I might give it a spin
