which Arnie "family" comedy do you prefer? I think they're both very good films with a bunch of quotable lines, and have surprising replay value.

Twins edges it for me...

I'm with Twins as well.  I know this because I remember more of it that Kindergarten Cop.  "It's nod a toomah!"

Were Arnie and Stallone the only action stars of the 80's who had forays into comedy, or were there others who I should remember?

Good question... there must be but I can't think of any

Bruce Willis went from Die Hard (1988) to Look Who's Talking (1989) then back to Die Hard 2 (1990). So I guess he counts, even though I didn't really consider him an action star until The Last Boy Scout (1991).
First rule is, 'The laws of Germany'
Second rule is, 'Be nice to mommy'
Third rule is, 'Don't talk to commies'
Fourth rule is, 'Eat kosher salamis'

I have to go with "Twins" as well.....and not because I'm a twin myself. :teddyr:

I just feel that it's a funnier film with the advantage of Danny DeVito.
Yes,I'm fine....as long as I don't look too closely.

Twins, hands down. Kindergarten cop was funny but not nearly as good as twins.
This is my awesome signature.  Jealous?
