13 F (which is the high for the day) and windy.  We do have a couple inches of snow, so it's looking a little bit like Christmas  :teddyr:

Tomorrow it's only supposed to get up to 4.

Stupid, Eugene Oregon got 7 inches of snow it is not equipped for... I'm not sure they have a snow plow.
So its a real mess as people who do not see snow try and get around.

It snowed yesterday in Portland, but hardly at all up in the hills at work.  Odd.  Now it's all melted around my house.

Yup light dusting here in Beaverton. Not enough to use an excuse to stay home so I went to work. Traffic was nice and light though.
This is my awesome signature.  Jealous?

Bloody cold.  The wind cuts like a knife and blows tears from your eyes (and then freezes them) and my fingernails sting.  Forecast says to expect five more days of it.  I put blankets on the horses and I don't usually do that until the cold snap the end of January!

We did get a bit of snow last night: think 'Frosted Mini Wheats cereal': the grass still shows through.    I hope we get more.  For whatever reason, it's a whole lot easier to take the cold with snow on the ground.  We don't get a proper winter here in the south: this frozen-mud-festooned-with-dead-grass thing gets depressing.  :tongueout:

They are predicting temps between 30 and 40 F with a bit fog and occasional rain for the next seven days. I predict yet another snowless mild christmas/winter this year again.

If they turn black or fall off, seek shelter immediately  :teddyr:

It does alarm those around me when my nose turns completely white.  Hasn't fallen off...yet.

Windchill is -25 C (-13 degrees FAHRENHEIT) this morning.  I am not a happy camper.  (Did I mention I spend upwards of 6 hours per day outside?)

As expected where I live we went from 30c degree weather and sunny Monday to cold and snowing in the alpine region thursday.  We actually have memes relating to how all over the place our weather is:

[That pic actually happens, no exaggeration...]

Anyways it's currently pretty warm and sunny.  Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Snow.  'Real' snow.  I more or less asked for that, didn't I.  Sigh.  Just peachy.  :tongueout:

We're getting a little snow flurries here.  Just enough to make the road sloppy.

Strong frost/freeze in the morning, bright and sunny during the day. Global warming, gotta love it.

They are predicting 50 F on Monday. If this continues I'll have to bring out my summer clothing from the closet again.

Freezing rain all night and continuing through this morning.  A centimeter or more of ice coating every branch and surface.  Makes everything look like a fairyland: but like traditional 'faery' it is beautiful but highly treacherous if you don't watch your step.
