I could see Hogan using his powers as Mania host to put Bryan in the title match.  They've had hosts do that before.
Hogan might not have time for that with all his WWE Network Advertising.

If WMXXX doesn't end with Daniel Bryan as World Champion leading all the crowd in huge chants of "Yes!", WWE will have missed the boat IMO. If not at Wrestlemania, it should happen by Summerslam. If it doesn't happen, it'll mean WWE continued their recent tradition of burying the fans' choice (RVD, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan) in favor of their own choices (John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista).

John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista = year after year... PPV after PPV... so on...

What has it been? 5... maybe 6 years of the SAME thing?

Yeah - Imo its just not that exciting anymore... that's sad. I miss 'WWF' and classic ECW, WCW.

WWE can't stretch Bryan out til SummerSlam.  If they do, there'll be nobody watching.

Punk did at least have that historic WWE title reign but sadly pretty much throughout was being overshadowed by guys like Cena, Ryback,, Sheamus, and then the Rock. You could argue Booker T. was another fan favorite overlooked perhaps a bit too long by WWE...

Think we all miss Punk. WWE could not see the forest for the trees.

ECW definitely helped wrestling move away from silly gimmicks in the 90s and into the more edgy, adult attitude era.

My personal favourite period though remains the 80s...

Unfortunately I missed most of the '80s stuff.  I started watching at 3, in '87.  I've been able to cop dvd's and go on the 'net to find stuff, though.

1985 to 1995 for me... BEST times. WWF

Another cool thing about the 1980s is it wasn't just the WWF, on cable you could potentially find here in Canada - AWA wrestling, NWA wrestling, UWF wrestling (would eventually be absorbed by the NWA), Calgary Stampede wrestling, Canadian International Wrestling (early-mid 1980s Montreal, this would eventually be bought out by WWF), and there was also a Pro Wrestling This Week show which showcased highlights of everywhere else including Memphis, Continental, WWC Puerto Rico, Portland, Florida and WCCW. Through trading tapes and renting VHS videos I also found NWA videos, AWA videos, even Japan videos. Wrestling seemed to be everywhere in the 1980s what with the huge popularity of Hulkamania. I recall having to book the latest VHS video release for rental, particularly from WWF, weeks ahead of time. Eventually the WWF would take over most of the cable stations as their main wrestling offering and slowly but surely most of the other federations started to die out, the NWA expanded also but they ran out of money (and many talents jumped to the WWF) and couldn't ultimately compete with the WWF even when the NWA and AWA and others combined efforts with Pro Wrestling USA. In this show, they did an angle where they claimed Bob Backlund was still WWF champion since he never was pinned by or submitted to the Iron Sheik...

TOP 50 TAG TEAMS IN WWE HISTORY!

wwe.com rated their top 50 tag teams in history a while back. While I liked their top 10, the list is pretty questionable in a lot of ways especially the inclusion of several make-shift tandems. The Steiners are way too low here and teams like Legacy, Kane & X-Pac & Laycool shouldn't even be on the list. Some quality WWF teams they forgot:

Adrian Adonis & Dick Murdoch
The Godwinns
The Headbangers
The Amazing Rocca & Miguel Perez
The Mongols
The Executioners
