I've been listening to this Taiwanese death metal group, Silent Hell, a lot. I really like them, even though I don't understand Taiwanese. Here's a sample.

I can't understand a word of the American death metal stuff either.

My family members keep interrupting me while I'm trying to play guitar.  So I tell them to shut up and go away.  And they get offended by that.  :buggedout:

Why is the weather always crappy on Friday, when I play golf, and gorgeous on Saturday, when I mow the lawn?

There's a UFO festival in McMinnville Oregon. The parade starts at 2 and I'm going to head there with my kids. Let's hope for some Orian Slave Girls!
This is my awesome signature.  Jealous?

Fun, but not nearly as fun as it could have been. Oh well.

No idea what that "Solange" Internet thing was but it came and went fast enough for me not to bother.

Today I was driving with my uber-Jewish friend Edie and this woman on the radio was talking about her daughter going to her 8th grade prom and how she had her first kiss there, and it was oh-so romantic and lovely and blah-blah-blah, and Edie pipes up, "I had my first kiss when I was eleven. I kissed my cousin Isaac in New York."

I didn't mean to exactly but I kind of flinched, and she goes, "What?"

So I go, "Your cousin?"

She was like, "Yeah, that's not weird. Don't try to tell me that's weird. He was really good too."

I just kind of lost it laughing at that point but kissing your cousin like that is kinda gross. So now she's a little mad at me for raining on her memory of swapping spit with someone who shares the same grandparents with her.

I still say yuck.

ER- her response shows she kind of knows it's gross which it most certainly is, if relatively innocent

QuoteIf it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

Unless of course you're on a rock that's running out of known resources, negative or no growth at this stage would actually be pretty beneficial until we can get some more advanced energy sources and/or some more land.
