Why did I feel guilty for taking a lazy two hour nap on a cold and rainy afternoon on my day off?

I took a nice nap in the middle of the movie I was watching last night.  Can't say I missed much lol

My wife asked me if I had the cool on.  I said I've always got the cool on baby!  She said "No I meant the air conditioning you nitwit."

Ugh: it's 01:48 am - why can't I sleep right through to 4 am anymore?

My stepdad just offered to help me out with a new car, if I clean out my garage so he can work on it. Two problems; I just rented the space to a friend for storage. Second; I really don't trust him around my stuff.

Not sure if this is a trend, but I noticed lots of people I know are into middle ages / medieval music. Like, 'modern' bands playing medieval with pop. I've listened to a few tunes, the lyrics make me cringe big time. Not my kind of scene I guess.

I was trying to explain to my dad that just because his cable company went 100% digital, that doesn't mean that all his channels are now high-def.  I think it's a lost cause though.  In retrospect I never should have told him that high def exists in the first place.  Heck he was perfectly happy with the HD picture he was getting on his old standard def TV.

Just finished mowing my lawn.  I will never for the life of me understand why some people insist on watering their grass.
If you water it, it grows back.  If it grows back, you have to mow it again.
Every hour spent mowing is an hour you DON'T get to enjoy life. :hatred:

That stuff can't turn brown and dead fast enough for me!

Otherwise, I'd never see the sun.

Well, here's the thing- if it was brown and dead, you would just have a look that would depreciate your house, probably have a few calls asking if you are interested in selling, or have shifty people come by.
yeah no.
