I'll take a shot at it...

Top 10 WWF/WWE gimmicks

1) The Undertaker
2) The Million Dollar Man
3) Mr. Perfect
4) Big Bossman
5) Demolition (although it was a rip on the Road Warriors)
6) Goldust
7) Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake
8) Hillbilly Jim
9) Razor Ramon
10) Diesel

Honorable Mention: The Honky Tonk Man, Mankind, The Godfather, Rick "The Model" Martel, The Hurricane, Val Venis, Doink the Clown (especially evil Doink), Yokozuna, Hacksaw Jim Duggan wielding 2 x 4, Kane, Bray Wyatt, The Natural Disasters, Edge & Christian, The Hardys, Lita, The Rock

Ultimate Warrior, Jake the Snake, Junkyard Dog, Sgt. Slaughter, Iron Sheik, Hulk Hogan, Hercules, Kamala, Rick Rude, Road Warriors, Triple H, Stone Cold arguably had their gimmicks pre-WWF. Though the Waylon Mercy gimmick had potential...suspect it's an influence on Bray Wyatt, liked the Widow Maker gimmick for Barry Windham which was likely an influence on the Undertaker.

Hulk Hogan is an Icon. He's 1 of a kind... so he surpasses my list.

I honestly feel once HHH gets full creative control we'll be okay.

He's openly stated he wants a 2-hour Raw.  He's running NXT.  I honestly feel we'll be ok.

Vince is such a control freak he won't stop until his heart stops beating.
