Such sad news about a true master of Horror. A Nightmare on Elm Street was the first film I remember watching and got me hooked on horror. What are you favourite Wes films?

Professor Hathaway:  I noticed you stopped stuttering.
Bodie:      I've been giving myself shock treatments.
Professor Hathaway: Up the voltage.

Neville

Someone in Reddit said that he should resurrect for at least a few seconds, just to give us all a final scare. That would be a very Wes Craven thing to do, certainly.

Never a fan of his directorial skills, but he always had some interesting ideas fo his scripts. "Red Eye" and the original "Hills have eyes" are personal favorites.
Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

The Hills Have Eyes was his finest hour. Shame about some of the crap he put out later on (naming no names here.....) but his passing sucks.  :bluesad:
"Nothin' out there but God's little creatures - more scared of you than you are of them"  - Warren, "Just Before Dawn"

Gabriel Knight

I was recently re-watching the series Boston Legal and there's an episode in which Wes Craven makes a cameo appearence, giving his opinion about a "homemade" porn film - basically, a desperate attempt of the lawyer to save his client from having sex with prostitutes.

The thing is... that very same week, Mr Craven died. I think i killed him. :(
