Splurged out on a few movies last week...

As Above, So Below (Catacombs was so bad it put me off watching any similiar films for a while. Been told its pretty good).
For Your Eyes Only (I am seeing how long it will take me to collect all the James Bond movies by only buying them if they are under £5 and in a charity shop).
Zoltan: Hound Of Dracula (Remember watching this once a long time ago. Plus I used to have Top Trumps cards and one of them had this animal on it).
The Lavender Hill Mob (Hard to go wrong with Alec Guiness).
Valkyrie (Neither of us have watched this one, so although I am familiar with the real story I thought I'd give it a watch).
Mars Attacks (Can't believe I have not bought this on DVD before (I did have it on VHS though)).
Jurassic World (Something for the wife).
Cooties (Impulse purchase, but Frodo Baggins fighting off zombie kids has to be atleast worth a shot).

The Rage (2007) - got this at a record store during my brother's recent visit to New Jersey. If I'd kept up with my horror magazines I might have heard of this movie a lot sooner. All I knew going in was that it had some big genre names attached and was about a mad scientist and had an awesome mutant on the cover. What I watched ended up being both nothing like what I expected and  highly entertaining with much horror laughter throughout. The Making-Of doc included on the disc was almost as long as the actual movie, a good thing for me as it showed all the effects techniques and set work with everyone involved having a great time. I like it when people who love horror make horror.
