And now, a frontrunner for #1 dishonourable mention '16

In the UK, the Horror Channel, which sponsors the country's (at least) biggest horror event and is run by people who should know full well what many horror fans thought of wide theatrical releases in the 00s, especcially '06-'10, is airing the remake of When a Stranger Calls.

Oh, and also, they recently aired Darkness Falls and are also airing The Convenant (you know, the pre-Twilight Twilight?).

"But Tyranno, surely this channel needs to advertise to teenagers too" someone is probably thinking, and they might actually have a point, sadly. Ironically, this rubbish may actually lead teenagers to some of the good horror in recent years.

But still, assuming this year, like last, fails to give me movies for a "worst of '15-'16 thread... anyone object to a "worst 10 movies aired by a channel that should've known better"?

Wait Tyranno, there's been good horror in recent years?

I kind of liked It Follows but I'd be inclined to agree that horror has sucked for a very long time with few exceptions.
