Definitely got mine cut.. I seen one uncut in a (fairly) mainstream movie, and it wudn't pretty.

Just fer fun, a list of celebs who didn't go under the knife.

Large majority of any non-Jewish or Muslim celebrity from Europe or most of Asia (South Korea excepted), South America, Australia, etc, is probably intact.  We Americans are the odd ones out here really, thanks to pseudoscience and anti-masturbation propaganda!  Yay.

:tongueout:

ER

Since I been so loquacious on here today I might as well go out with one more post before a busy tomorrow takes up my time.

Jim's right, about 3/4ths of the men on earth are not circumcised, some statistics go as high as 4/5ths, and it's something Americans get made fun of a lot for around the developed world. Actually the trend is reversing even in the United States, though the numbers do get skewed a bit because of recent largescale immigration by those from cultures were the custom was not in effect, so how much of that apparent decline is because parents of newborns are changing their minds in this generation versus once-outside cultural standards coming into play is debatable.

Now I must sleep so I can destroy someone twelve years younger than me on the tennis courts at 6:00 AM. Poor girl ain't going to know what hit her.

Fabersham, aloha, shalom, and goodnight!

What does not kill me makes me stranger.

Trevor

*Looks into pants, screams  :buggedout:* Yes, it's cut.

Had my tonsils out and my 4skin gone when I was five.

I had ice cream for my sore throat and ice for my you know what.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

I was flip about it, but one thing that did bother me is there is clear pressure to have it done by some people in healthcare, even though it's not really recommended by centralized organizations. Anecdotal I know, but that's definitely the case at times in St. Louis metro healthcare - they expect you to do it, and will even start to prep for it soon after birth before even asking, then be surprised you don't go for it. All this for essentially cosmetic surgery on an fragile newborn. Crazy to me.

On a bit lighter note, Trevor's post (you talk about South Africa regularly enough, can't help it!) reminded me of this music video.

This is a link as the video is definitely not work safe (nudity/phallic/sexual images). The sub text is how the rapper, Wanga, in real life refuses to go through a rather brutal tribal circumcision, which makes him an "evil boy" and not a man. His rap is in Xhosa, and other lyrics are english and Afrikaans.

(re: the woman in the video)

Holy crap, is that like, a crazier version of Tilda Swinton (the White Witch in the Narnia series)?
