Thought this might be interesting.

What spoken dialogue from the killer in a horror flick kind of spooked you?  Either still gets under your skin or scared you in the past.

I remember in the original PROM NIGHT, the killer hissing "NOW!" just before he'd claim a victim (or whilst carving/chopping them up) sort of got to me.

Freddy had some spooky/menacing moments in the original film, before he spouted lame wisecracks in later installments. "Come to Freddy."  "Die, b***h!"

The axe murderer in Dario Argento's gory classic TENEBRAE would hiss "SPY!!!" when he'd catch a potential victim in his domain, then skillfully put metal to flesh.

What moments of creepy dialogue do you recall killers saying in horror films?  Too often, they were silent or growled on occasion; I find it great when they have dialogue to spare!
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

Trevor

Dr Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal: "Good evening!" before slicing up his two attackers.  :buggedout:
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

The masked killer in the first SCREAM movie, on the phone to Drew Barrymore:

"I want to see what your insides look like!"

   . . . and then he did.
"I shall smite you in the nostrils with a rod of iron, and wax your spleen with Efferdent!!"

Dialogue that used to spook me:

"DEAD BY DAWN!  DEAD BY DAWN!"-- Evil spirit in Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn

"Look what you did to him.. LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO HIM!!!"
"Don't let her get away, mommy!  I won't, Jason."--Pamela Voorhees, Friday The 13th (1980)

"Hanniger!  I'll be waiting in hell for you!  Harry, I'm coming.. this whole f***ing town is going to die!  We're coming back, you bastards!"--Axel, My Bloody Valentine (1981)

"I will take you places you've never been.  I will show you things you have never seen, and I will see the life run out of you." --Eva, Ghost Story (1981)

"Your mother sucks c***s in hell, Karras!"
"Keep away!  The sow is mine!  F*** me!  F*** me!  F*** me!!!"
"Lick me!  Lick me!"-- Demon, The Exorcist (1973)
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

That is probably one of the scariest lines in any film: it is in Peter Straub's book too but Eva adds the word "Insects".
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Lee Marvin closes his victim's eyes in Gorky Park before he shoots her dead: "Yes."  :buggedout:

We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Arsenic and Old Lace
......"Now toddle off and fly your flying machine."

"Don't worry, Daddy, I'll make you famous again." - from SINISTER

Gad, that scene gave me the cold chills!!!   :buggedout:

Not really dialogue, but in Nightmare on Elm Street 3 when skeleton Freddy buries the doctor and does that super evil echoing laugh it STILL scares me a bit.

Not really a killer, but that rhyme from The Ring "Frolic in brine, goblins be thine" really creeps me out.

There's a funny bit in that movie where John Saxon sees the skeleton Freddy and hisses "It's really you!" and Freddy turns and nods at him.  :teddyr:

Kevin (Chris Pitt) "Excuse me. You couldn't drop me off at Lowendale youth hostel. Ifyou are going that way."

Of course, ere this, we get a half minute clip of him, as a boy scout, standing in the rain, trying to thumb a ride. And as soon as I saw him, I knew what would happen to him, during the next 6 minutes of the film. And wouldn't you know it? I was right.

Of course, when I 1st saw the film, I really connected with the poor lad, which is why I use his moniker here on this website, where a review of the film can also be seen.

Rev. Powell

Not a horror movie, but this was pretty frightening in context:
