PINK FLOYD A Saucerful Of Secrets

Boy that first song sux.  Actually if I remember correctly, much of this album sux.

"Saucerful" was not a Floyd fave for me.

I found a box full of CDs I had never unpacked after my last move. Most of them were already on my hard drive, so no big deal. This is one I bought when it came out on great reviews because I liked all of Andrew Bird's previous albums. I found it a huge disappointment. Thought I'd give it another shot and it's pleasant sounding, but boring. Still have no idea what the glowing reviews at the time were all about.

The music is majestic.  The lyrics are stoopid.

Good choice.  I think this was the one in the Silly Symphony by Disney?

Well, 3 movements were used in FANTASIA, played by Stopkowski and the Philadelphia Orchestra.
