Since the overall rating on Amazon (and other sites) reviews usually come down to the ratio between one star and five star reviews, why not replace the star system with a thumbs up or down system?

It really bugs me that so few people ever rate anything from 2-4 stars, when that's exactly the ratings most merchandise deserves.

It's ok as is. some people may give different ratings based on various factors. Good pricce but slow shipping, higher priced but faster shipping, gret porice and shipping but Shxt for customer service, etc.

One for people from the UK I guess. For all the grieving Jeremy Kyle fans wondering what they are going to do with their time now his show has been cancelled.

Robert Pattison has been confirmed as the new Batman.

I wonder if Batman will have a costume that sparkles?

I saw one episode of this years ago and it was enough to put me off the rest.

If a pair of trevor's underwear ever achieved a life of it's own and self awareness would it call trevor daddy or mommy?

The devil is clearly evil but is Hell itself evil? It's just the place where he lives and tortures people. It's not a living thing

Hell would be created by evil for evil and for all intents evil.

Since the devil and hell are evil I guess that makes the christian (and muslim) god evil for creating them.

If John Candy's character didn't really have a destination in Planes, Trains and Automobiles, then why was his character in just as big a hurry to get to Chicago as Steve Martin's character? (Despite his laidback nature about the ordeal.)

I think it is interesting that India is slowly taking over IMDb. India seems more passionate about their movies than the rest of the world.
I'll give it a few more years and The Shawshank Redemption (1994) won't be IMDb's #1 movie anymore  :teddyr:

I believe for many, many years now India's output of films has dwarfed that of the USA, so I guess that isn't overly shocking. I would have thought they'd have had a Indian language version of imbd though.

I just read that India is currently IMDb's second-highest user base worldwide. "Movie-mad Indians and the cheap data packs on their smartphones could make India the biggest user-base market for IMDb over the next five years".

There seems to be a Indian language version of IMDb, but I guess they don't restrict movie votes to each country?
