This is how adults behave.

Admittedly I could be missing something here but this irks me.

A more secure individual might have saluted the young person's initiative and ambitious extra-box thinking, and a kinder one could have replied with fewer castigations. What is this person who is replying, a sacrosanct Brahmin scorning an untouchable? Conquerors aim high and whom one knows has always carried newcomers far, so why's it bad to try to make acquaintances who could possibly help you? Is the person replying truly under the impression that the world is a meritocracy or that she achieved her status wholly by personal effort and not with outside connections?

The would-be status climber reminds me of Cadet Kirk reprogramming the Kobayashi Muru and good for that person for being ambitious.
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

I think Se7en is my favourite. Just a shame about Spacey.

Yeah,  at the rate we're going we'll have to have computer digital editing replace every actor who ever offended anyone with a new,  acceptable,  certified Inoffensive actor...

Stalin would be proud. He liked to erase all references to those that he found unacceptable.  Ironically after his death some soviet films with him in them we're edited to remove him.
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

I believe in the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

Okay, that's enough Sven quotes. Let's try to forget about him for now.

Trying to make business connections is generally a good idea and standard practice. I'm not sure who this b***h thinks she is. Her business has gotten severe backlash.

The slur in question begins with an "N".

Gabriel Knight

It was probably a troll attempt, but if it was, then it's quite a good one I must say.  :teddyr:

Check my crappy and unpopular reviews and ratings:

I wouldn't call it garbage- just really strange!
I posted this on my blog- a photo from KING DINOSAUR (1955)

Somebody gave it this caption in a reblog-

Extremely obvious troll. Everyone knows we don't live in the Harry Potter universe.
This is more blatant than "how is babby formed".

Saw this on Facebook (from Andy C, incidentally, who used to post here but hasn't been on in years) and thought it would fit here.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...
