I'll also throw in Unbreakable (2000). Whatever gets people in a rage of praise for the film I don't get it. I thought it was boring as f**k and unintentional funny.

Agree. The weight lifting scene was particularly painful. I think I mentioned it in another thread.

No problem with that and apartheid was a very evil system but I don't like films like that made by people who conveniently ignore the issues in their own countries and choose to focus on SA instead. If these films were made by SA filmmakers, then great.

Yeah, but on the flip side of that coin, our news media loves to shower Winnie Mandela with praise when she would have just as soon as put a necklace on them if their skin was the wrong color.
