PREDICTIONS FOR 2020:

There will be an impeachment trial in the Senate.

Trump will be acquitted by the GOP majority, although a few Republicans may peel off and vote with the Democrats. Not one Democrat will vote to acquit.
I think this likely outcome has been acknowledged unofficially by both sides all along. But the trial will put both the charges and the evidence on display for the nation and the world to see, and Trump's lawyers will do their best to discredit the whole process.

Both sides will claim a moral victory.

Neither Hillary Clinton nor Barack Obama will ever go to jail, a million social media memes notwithstanding.

Next fall, Trump will either score a narrow win in the electoral college like he did last time, while losing the popular vote, or will be dumped by the voters resoundingly.

If he loses, I think it highly likely that he will try to find a way to remain in office regardless, most likely by claiming the election was "rigged."

While he will fail at this, a disturbingly large number of Americans will still believe his claim and support him.

The result will be very ugly.

At this point, I think I'd vote for a candidate whose campaign slogan would be "Make Politics boring and uneventful again"
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Yeah, if he loses he will say it was rigged.  Of course there will be the typical recount lawsuits, but it comes to a point when he has to walk away.  I'm fairing conservative,  and if he doesn't leave office I will join the chorus of those calling for him to leave.

Biden will beat Trump

He won't do socialized health care or significantly draw down the military and the economy will level off without trumps sure hand so it won't be much of a victory.
