We should all know being a "babbling idiot" does not disqualify a person from holding office in the US of A.

Honestly, that's like me repeating what I so often heard in college in New England: "All Canadians do is whine, whine, whine about their betters while they send their sick old people down here for medical treatment out of their joke of a health care system and come down and get drunk and brag about their hockey teams and try to pick up American women who think they're pale, ski cap wearing clods."

I thought that was a mean thing for locals to say about Canadians, most of whom have always seemed nice to me. (With exceptions.)

Cheap shots at another person's country aren't good breeding and don't reflect well on upbringing. Constructive criticism... perhaps, but if you're a foreigner and not part of a nation, what reason do you have to insult it?  What business is it of Canada's who the US elects? What place is it for me to tell what I think of Trudeau?

For the record what you posted offended me. I've been to four continents, plus New Zealand, and rule one of courtesy is you don't insult someone else's nation. The French would go postal on someone for that, as well they should. A Scotsman once told me when I was over there that he'd rather someone bad-mouth his mother than his country, though he'd kick someone's arse for either one, and that's national (and maternal) pride lacking in many Americans.
