I separated films that have heavy sci-fi, fantasy or horror themes. So the likes Robocop, The Terminator, The Road Warrior, Raiders of the Lost Ark and so on are kept to those respective genres.

The Running Man (1987)

I've often wondered how that movie (which I liked) would have turned out if they filmed directly from the book: I found it terribly depressing, especially that ending.  :buggedout:

THE THREE MUSKETEERS (1974)
THE FOUR MUSKETEERS (1975)

Both were on TCM today.  RICHARD LESTER directed and they are essentially one long movie and wonderful, loaded with action both comedic and gruesome.
