We're losing members because we're not interesting anymore?

What does not kill me makes me stranger.

No, I think all forums everywhere are losing members to Facebook, Twitter, reddit, etc.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Not only are forums closing up, some like this one, are long abandoned and out of date.  TCM closes its forum Nov. 30.

I do hope this place stays around - I keep a lot of my stuff here.

That's ridiculous!  We are so interesting!  I actually don't think I'd be able to participate as much (of the little that I do participate) if this was much bigger.  I love that it's so intimate and despite that there are so many diverse perspectives from people from all over the world.  It feels like a secret little green corner of the internet that only super special weirdos know about and I am honored to be among you all.

If this place shut down I would lose a family, plain and simple 😔😔

DVDtalk still has very good traffic considering the outdated forum name. Most there claim not to like or use Facebook, twitter, Instagram, tiktok etc.

Then you have blu-ray.com and they are probably one of the busiest forums on the Internet that I know of, but that place can be toxic though. They ban people every day.

Horrordigital has been around since the late 1990s and is still going pretty strong. Lots of old time members posting just like here.
Is it October yet?

There's just so much with social media nowadays. Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, etc. Sad to say.

This forum is and will be my online home for as long as it's around.

I still remember the days when we had folks like, oh jeez...I can't even remember their names.  Circus from England, another really nice and entertaining guy from approximately the same area, that afro Alaskan guy, and DarkSider.  They all gave me crap and I gave it back - so much fun lol.

And you forgot to mention this South African dude with the refurbished undies  :tongueout:

Chris, Doggett, Ghouck, Mark, SisterGrace and Dr Menard (Robert): all very much missed.
