What is the worst thing you've ever done to another human being?

Mine is treating them exactly the same way they treated me.

Something I didn't do, so much as I let someone else do and did nothing to stop it.

If you knew you were the last human being alive, would this make you more or less likely to change your present feelings about God?

Probably less likely.  After all, I'd need SOMEONE to talk to.

I nearly killed someone in high school 🥺

I was thinking if you were the last human, then the species was in its final "days" and there'd been no return of Jesus, no resurrection of the righteous dead by Allah, no coming of the Messiah as promised by the Jews, so this would rule out at least the God of western religions, so, to quote the late, great Douglas Adams, "That about wraps it up for God."

As it is there remain lots of humans. 8,000,000,000 supposedly, so no disproving the claim that the messiah is still on the way.

Assuming you wouldn't be arrested for it, would you walk naked on Thanksgiving morning down the route of the fully-televised Macy's Thanksgiving parade, for one-million dollars? (Actually, I would not.)

When I was younger and in a better shape, I used to pose for art classes, so I am fairly sure I could do this no problem, although I would like to have something on my feet.

You know, let me change my answer. If I had a mask and could be anonymous I'd do it. I wouldn't care about millions seeing me naked, only about being ID'd and having to live it down.

The issue for me wouldn't be the nudity per se, but the weather. I'd love the money but I don't know if I could actually complete 2.5 miles nude if it's 40 degrees out. Hypothermia is a real possibility.

Plus, shrinkage.

Often in the too-brief time I knew her, my grandma used to like to say:

"Who would you be if you weren't who you are?"

I don't think she ever meant it to be the haunting question it's sometimes become.

Choices create us as much as anything, after all. So I'll leave the question hanging if anyone wants to to think about it.

Me, I think I'd have less insomnia were I someone other than who I am.
