Hello, after reading about this "lost" Bigfoot film, I watched a trailer for it (bad quality and all). Now I feel like I must see this. There are articles about this movie, how it's been lost, and people are trying to find it. There was one mention in an article I read that said some people had seen low-quality versions of it on VHS. Anyone have any leads on it? I'm going to attempt to post a link for the trailer here, but not all that sure how to do it. The title on YouTube is "Sasqua Trailer #1" ... any info greatly appreciated. Link below:

Well, the trailer is certainly low-quality vhs. I have never heard of this movie and never seen it mention on message boards except now. If a tape copy exists wouldn't somebody already uploaded this "lost" gem?

Sometimes movies are simply lost forever. A good example would be Fight For Your Life (1977), all film elements destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
Sometimes lost movies suddenly pop up out of nowhere. Doris Wishman's original version of A Night to Dismember (1983) was believed to be lost. A few years ago it was found in the garage of the cameraman who shot the film.

Is it October yet?

I looked in the comments on another video and somebody asked the uploader if they had a copy.

They replied:
QuoteWe do actually. It's currently in the collection of the a shadowy organization known as the Lowell Hauntological Society. But it's complicated. A documentary is currently in production. We eventually hope to do a public screening of it alongside Sasqua in a theater in the city where it was filmed.

So a copy does exist.

Curious about your citations or if you meant a different film w/ a similar title? FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE is and has been readily available for years and remains so:

However, I've been looking for more than the available 6 minutes of SASQUA for 15-20 years. I'm pretty convinced the "hauntological society" story is fabricated and SASQUA is buried perhaps forever. But I remain hopeful.
