Rocktober Blood (1984) finally coming to blu-ray, but...

Boutique label Terror Vision announced a blu-ray release of the Sebastian International Picture horror movie Rocktober Blood, but there's a catch.

According to rumor original film elements of Rocktober Blood were destroyed in a Lionsgate (former owner of Rocktober Blood) vault fire. A fire that was never officially confirmed. The Sebastian Family went to court to re-claim Rocktober Blood. Lionsgate gave them a tape master, which is the only surviving element they had.

A few years ago the Sebastians released Rocktober Blood to physical media, claiming it was pressed on blu-ray but they actually used blu-ray-roms, which p**sed fans off nonetheless. The Sebastians still made enough money from the sales to buy a brand new BBQ smoker which they proudly presented on their facebook page (along with a few racist comments and mocking fans who bought the bad quality rom-disc).

Terror Vision bought home video distribution rights from the Sebastians. Terror Vision promised to make Rocktober Blood look better than the film ever did.
No idea how much goodness they can squeeze out of a tape master but we shall see. No street date yet.
