Another I never rented. Fangoria did an article on Unmasked back in the day, but for some reason I was not sold on it.
Is it October yet?

I saw it.  Wasn't that impressed.

it just doesn't look very funny.

how 'forgotten' is RUSH WEEK (1989)?  wasn't on my radar till fairly recently.  it's alright, seen worse. but I'd still say it's bad

I'm going to throw THE DEMON in here: largely forgotten but never forgotten if you've ever seen it 😳
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Lesser known than the earlier, similar-themed GRADUATION DAY:
FATAL GAMES (1984)
High school gymnasts are offed by a wacko wielding a javelin.

and..
BLOOD FRENZY (1987)
A psychiatrist takes her patients out to the desert for some therapy, where they are stalked by a killer.  Lisa Loring, who played Wednesday Addams in the 60s series of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, stars.  SOV/DTV.
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

Fatal Games has a great Blu-ray release for those interested in checking out

NO HARD FEELINGS aka KICK OR DIE (1987) a part slasher, part martial arts film 😳
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Nobody ever talks about the movie Jack-O, but I consider it a must every Halloween.

may do... only saw it once, in bad quality on youtube. I am a massive fan of GRADUATION DAY which russell mentioned, and although not as good this does have similarities

DEATH SCREAMS/HOUSE OF DEATH (1982)
A fair in a small North Carolina town brings joy to local teens-- until a killer shows up.  If you didn't get this at your local mom and pop video store you probably haven't heard of it.
Some good gore in parts to recommend this, otherwise quite the slog from what I hear.

Kinda looks like Jason Voorhees's mom!

Also:

CARDIAC ARREST (1980)
San Francisco is plagued by murders involving the victims' hearts being surgically removed.  Light on the grue, as it's rated PG.  Max Gail (BARNEY MILLER) and Fred Ward (TREMORS) are in it.
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

AXE EM aka THE WEEKEND IT LIVES (1992)

What a pile of 💩

Video Violence

(man, look at that SUPER Retro Old Fashioned VCR!)

A husband and wife arrive in a small town and open a video store, only to find out the town makes it's own movies, snuff movies!

The writer and director sold the rights to Camp Video because they were the only ones to offer to design video box art and has also claimed the film had a budget of $6.  The sequel looks even cheaper and has no actual plot.

I've seen that couple of years ago after GGTMC podcast reviewed it, and it was cool.

another rarely mentioned halloween one, HAUNTEDWEEN  (contender for worst wordplay attempt in a horror title ever?)

The Newlydeads (1988)

Before Joseph Merhi and Richard Pepin founded PM Entertainment, they had a company called City Lights, producing and directing mostly horror movies. The Newlydeads was one of them: the zombified ghost of a transvestite is haunting a honeymoon resort, killing couples in a Friday the 13th manner. Zero budget supernatural slasher that doesn't hold back on the gory stuff. Pretty bad but also kind of fun to watch.

I saw a movie once called S.I.C.K. (Serial Insane Clown Killer.)  It had a fat guy that wore clown makeup for no reason and put little dolls everywhere also for no reason.
