Happy Halloween to all. We had some friends round and I hope you had as much fun as we did.

I went to work dressed as a Ghostbuster.  Watched Bram Stoker's Dracula when I got home, and gave out some candy to kinds.  We didn't have too many groups this year.  I think part of that may have to do with the fact that we're still cleaning up from the storms.

The estate where we live was absolutely heaving with kids. Even with taking Ash out for somewhere between half an hour to an hour we still gave out somewhere between 100 to 200 packets of sweets before we ran out. Kristi's work which is just a 10-minute walk from our house had asked Ash to come up. As soon as we got out of the married quarters the streets were dead. One of our friends who came over absolutely loved it and wanted to hand out all the sweets to the kids (something we were more than happy to let her do since constantly opening the door gets old).

Honestly, next year feel free to come up to visit for it and you can spend all night handing out candy. Nikki is already making plans to do it again.

I went to a punk venue last night, they had a costume contest. I didn't enter it due to people enjoying crossdressing/ gender bending their outfits. It was still fun, I'm glad I went.
