I think he's just ordered that a heritage building be knocked down 😳😳🤧

I asked AI how a Trump supporter would answer your question.

1. Framing it as a normal or justified expense

"Every president makes upgrades or adds facilities for events and functions. A ballroom isn't some vanity project — it can serve official purposes, host dignitaries, and reduce outside event costs. The media just hypes it up because it's Trump."

2. Arguing that Trump is using his own funds

"At least he's a businessman who often pays for things himself. Unlike other presidents who spend taxpayer money, Trump invests in his own properties — that ballroom benefits his business and creates jobs, not government waste."

3. Comparing to other administrations

"Obama, Biden, and others have spent millions on renovations, vacations, and security. Singling out Trump for a ballroom is hypocritical. It's minor compared to other presidential expenses."

4. Spinning it as part of his brand or leadership style

"Trump has always been about presentation and hospitality. A ballroom fits his image — he's a showman who knows how to host major events. It's part of why people voted for him: he brings a sense of grandeur."

5. Dismissing the criticism as political bias

"If Biden did it, nobody would care. The outrage is just another example of Trump Derangement Syndrome. The left will complain about anything he does."
Is it October yet?

It's being paid for by "donations" (bribes) from rich guys wanting favors.

Doesn't really matter if he's paying for it, it's not his property. You can't knock out a wall in an apartment you're renting just because you pay for it yourself.

Now, he would probably just twist arms and fire people who didn't approve his plans if he submitted them through the proper legal channels, so he can argue he's just cutting corners, and he'd get to do it anyway even if he followed proper procedures.

Anyway, among all the bad things he's done, this isn't even in the top 50.

And all of them went through traditional, legal channels to do so.
(In the case of Truman, he had no choice - the interior support beams were rotted and the entire upper floor was threatening to collapse, for crying out loud!)
NOTHING about this administration is normal.  NOTHING!

It's not normal. He's ignoring legal procedure. It's not his kingly decision to make as Lord of America. If he went through proper channels, then fine, I guess. Like I said, it's not in the top 50 bad things he's done. I know MAGa supports it because it triggerz teh libz, but c'mon.
